We tailor our consulting services to the individual needs of the client, so please inquire with NCAN about your project’s unique aspects by contacting Elizabeth Morgan, NCAN's director of external relations, at morgane(at)collegeaccess.org.
The following examples illustrate some sample NCAN consulting engagements and projected budgets that include staff and travel costs. Consulting project budgets vary due to multiple factors, such as the individual nature of the program work, the number of site visits needed and the locations, the amount of staff time necessary, the amount of background research, and the timeframe needed to accomplish the work. Actual project budgets will vary.
A. Facilitation of meeting/retreat with committees and/or board members about scholarship program/college access program challenges and best practices (one day on-site; light background research off-site, brief followup memo with summary and suggested next steps) Estimate: $10,000
B. Assessment and analysis of scholarship program, promise program, college access program, or school district for best practices and procedures; final report of recommendations. (one to three on-site visits for meetings and interviews; background research and review; assessment report) Estimate: $25,000-$50,000
C. Assessment, analysis, and recommendations for designing a new or redesigning an existing scholarship program, promise program, and/or college access program, including additional help for implementation in your community or at your foundation.
