Network and Learn in America’s Finest City

The 2017 NCAN National Conference, Making Waves for Postsecondary Access and Success, is shaping up to be among the most exciting ever. At the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina from Sept. 11-13, we’ll of course have multiple networking and learning opportunities through the workshops, plenary sessions, exhibitors, and Success Gallery. But we will also have targeted sessions in response to your feedback and expressed interests. Here are just a few examples:

If these aren’t reasons enough to think about attending the NCAN conference this year, here are a few more:

  • Wes Moore, CEO of the Robin Hood Foundation will talk about his personal and professional experiences supporting low-income students in their pursuit of postsecondary education.
  • A screening of Show Me Democracy, a feature-length documentary about how seven St. Louis college students evolved into activists as they demanded change through policy and protest.
  • The Success Gallery and Reception that gives attendees a chance to learn how presenters have integrated career exploration and advising programming into their organizations.
And then of course there’s beautiful San Diego, with the lively Gaslamp Quarter, beautiful sunsets, and exquisite seascapes. What could be better than combining a premiere professional development opportunity, networking with friends and colleagues, and a lovely setting? Registration and other conference information is available now – we hope to see you in California in less than two months.
