First Lady Michelle Obama Honors NCAN's 20th Anniversary in Conference Video

September 28, 2015

Today, during the first day of NCAN's 2015 National Conference, National College Access Network members' work in helping low-income, first generation students to enroll in and complete a postsecondary education was honored by First Lady Michelle Obama. This year's national conference, which is being held in Orlando, Florida, kicks off the start of NCAN's 20th Anniversary Year.

The First Lady's video message was a special addition to the already much-anticipated national conference. Mrs. Obama continues to be a strong advocate for policies and programs that help those students served by NCAN members, and her Reach Higher Initiative aims to "inspire every student in America to take charge of their future by completing their education past high school, whether at a professional training program, a community college, or a four-year college or university."

On behalf of our members, NCAN thanks for the First Lady for her message. You can view the First Lady's video message below!
