2019 Spring Training: Connecting Across the Postsecondary Pipeline

To get more first-generation students from high school to and through college graduation, many U.S. communities are finding new ways to collaborate and provide effective supports. We believe that every sector across the “to and through” college pipeline has a role in ensuring that every student has the opportunity and required support to obtain a college degree-  from K-12 school districts to community-based nonprofits, higher education institutions to government, business leaders and corporations.

NCAN’s 2019 Spring Training Connecting Across the Postsecondary Pipeline will allow college access and success practitioners at any level of the “to and through” pipeline to take a deeper dive into the collaborative efforts that ensure more students matriculate through the postsecondary pipeline successfully. These one-day professional development events will support these much-needed conversations among stakeholders by bringing together regional leaders to learn more about:

  • Student data and outcomes
  • Promising practices
  • Forging relationships that support systemic change and move the needle on equitable student outcomes
  • As well as offer an opportunity to connect with each other!

This year’s Spring Training is made possible by the generous support of Travelers. Travelers believes that, “strong communities are sustained by educational and economic opportunities” and is evident through programs like Travelers EDGE. The Travelers EDGE program is a pipeline of partnerships with public schools, colleges, universities and community-based organizations to offer students an opportunity to pursue their personal and professional goals.

We hope you will register for one of NCAN’s 2019 Spring Training events for a unique learning opportunity as we advance these conversations among local and regional partners that may be in your very own backyard!

Join us at one of three event locations along with our hosting NCAN-member organization:
